Cape Vue is a working wine farm and we are currently undertaking improvement projects on the estate. While every effort is made to minimise disruption, occasional construction activity may be noticeable during the day. Construction will be completed by August 2026 latest.
We thank you for your patience and understanding.

A Standout Year on the Canals of St Francis Bay

For the third year in a row, Cape Vue Vineyard Franschhoek proudly took part in Wine on Water in St Francis Bay, and without question, this was our most successful year yet.

Wine on Water has become a highlight on our calendar. We have absolutely loved being part of this event each year because the guests who attend are knowledgeable, engaged and genuinely curious about the story behind every bottle they taste. For a boutique vineyard like ours, that level of appreciation makes all the difference.

Our entire team travelled down from Cape Town to introduce wine lovers and industry professionals to Cape Vue and what we stand for. Over the course of the weekend, the response to our wines was extraordinary.

Our Viognier was complimented by almost every single person who tasted it, with many declaring it the finest Viognier they had ever experienced. Sauvignon Blanc enthusiasts went as far as calling ours the best Sauvignon Blanc of the day.

We also introduced our limited edition rosé presentation. While it remains our award winning rosé, we unveiled it in a new glass top bottle, reflecting modern wine trends while preserving the integrity and elegance of the wine itself. The new glass top bottle made a statement and many guests walked away with a case for their next gathering.

Beyond the sales and accolades, what truly stood out was the opportunity to engage with experts and passionate wine lovers. We were able to share what makes Cape View distinctive, from our vineyard philosophy to our approach in the cellar, and to connect with people who value craftsmanship and authenticity.

Guests once again described the Cape Vue stand as one of the best at the event, not only for the wines, but for the atmosphere. The music, the thoughtfully curated snacks and the energy of our team created a space where people lingered, tasted and returned.

We are incredibly proud of what our team achieved over this weekend. Most importantly, we are grateful to every person who took the time to taste our wines, learn more about our vineyard and purchase bottles to enjoy at home. We look forward to hearing how Cape Vue wines are being shared around your tables.

Wine on Water continues to be an event we are proud to be part of, and we cannot wait to return next year.
